Bickford Smith Bowling Club Changing Facilities

Bickford Smith Bowling Club are a Local Club of some 50 or so members the name coming from the Fuse factory a stone’s throw away where the safety fuse was invented. Bickford smith is a real Hub for social activities and competition alike keeping the older generations who still want to be active busy as well as welcoming young players to come along. The former changing Facilities were constructed of timber and had a somewhat summer house vibe to them like many of similar construction it was time for the building to be replaced.

Pyrocheck were Tasked with the Demolition of Bickford Smiths existing Changing facility and Full construction of 2 new Timber framed Changing rooms.

The Build consisted of 2 flat roofed, clad, timber framed buildings sited on timber stilts to ensure that the Finished floor level came level with the Bowling green.

PYROCHECK were principle contractors and were instrumental throughout the duration of the project including planning, design and completion.
