The works required a full refurb of a ward with a change of use to form the new Bassett unit and accommodate several mental health outpatient clinics.
PYROCHECK assumed the role of principle contractor, liaising with the various other trades and carried out all structural, and first + second fix building works. We installed fire rated partitioning systems along with fire rated suspended ceiling systems and installed appropriate fire stopping to the new and old compartmentation as required to suit the alterations in the services that passed through them.
This contract was carried out over two phases, moving directly on from phase one to phase two.
